I grew up on a vegetable farm in New Jersey and can verify that there are still a few gardens in the Garden State. I recently landed in Washington, D.C., where I am a writing fellow for The American Prospect. When I’m not writing, I spend my time reading about news and politics, talking about news and politics, walking holes in the bottoms of my shoes, pretending to be an avid biker, dancing, cooking, and massacring other languages.
