In case you thought Tom Tancredo couldn’t possibly put out something more offensive than his last advertisement, now he’s got a new one up at his homepage. I’d post it below but it doesn’t appear to be available on YouTube yet. The crux is that immigrants (especially those brown ones) are “Pushing Drugs. Raping Kids. Destroying Lives.” It also includes the particularly ominous line “Deport those who don’t belong,” which seems to be talking about a lot more than just the people who are here illegally. Interestingly enough, the ad never uses the word “illegal.”
There’s no way anyone could mistake Tancredo’s stance as anything but the racist, nationalist, anti-all-immigrants stance that it is. Guess we should be glad he’s only polling at around 1 percent, but as last week’s debate showed, the other Republicans have been “trying to out-Tancredo Tancredo” of late. Seems he’s set a new bar with this one.
